Many people have told me what they think of me by their words and actions. Based on their opinions and my own experiences, I’ve formed beliefs about who I am.

But what really matters is who God says I am.

My Identity

Satan’s Lie God’s Truth
I am a sinner, inherently flawed and therefore unlovable. I am a child of God who sins on occasion. God has declared me righteous.
I receive my identity from what people say about me I receive my identity from what God says about me.What I or others think about me is irrelevant.
I base my value upon what I have or can accomplish I base my value upon the purpose for which God created and called me.
My behaviours confirm what I believe about myself. God’s purpose and opinion of me determines my behaviour
